santa card assignment.

This Santa design was quite hard to pull off as i wanted to get Santa that looks as if he couldn't care about anything, i think i pulled of the look in the face, i wanted him to be look lazy but intimidating at the same time, i did a simple sketch in photoshop which was based off of the rough sketches in which i then painted over and then designed the background, i could have improved the trees in the background as they were unrealistic to what they are meant to look like but i felt that the piece should focus more on the main figure than the background. And the christmas message should of been more prominent but after a bit more work i felt that i din't really want this piece as a christmas card so i kind of hid it in the corner.

plane daytime

This was my daytime piece i was quite happy with the result and i spent alot of time trying to get the fire to look good, the focus on this was to keep perspective and i did it quite well, the plane could of been put in better but overall i was quite happy with it.

still need to add the final one to the day time scene, i think on a a whole perspective wise it went quite well, the plane could of been better and when adding in details i went over some of the shape of the plane but on the whole i liked the scene.  i would of liked to add some more action involving the character but i couldnt't think what to do.
